Thomas "Tom" Landis (October 19, 1950 - June 6, 1988) was a Piston Cup racer for Team Shiny Wax with the number 82 from 1979 to 1988. He is well remebered for his fatal accident in 1988 during the 1988 Pocono 400. He was 37 when he died. He was going to race until the 1995 season. He is a 1979 Husker Morocco who resembles Ernie Gearson.
His son Mark Landis was also a former Piston Cup racer for Shiny Wax.
